Nestled in  the woods, right on Tisbury Great Pond's Deep Bottom Cove, this four bedroom cabin features floor to ceiling glass windows and doors for living at one with the woods and pond. The property has a dock with direct access to the pond and south beach. A canoe, kayaks and a row boat make exploring this rural salt pond and it's diverse wildlife a pleasure. And if you are feeling lazy there is a big hammock down by the water.Powered by propane, rather than electricity, the house has an indoor bath with shower plus an outdoor shower with a great view of the pond. The kitchen has a stove, refrigerator and ample equipment to prepare a feast of native seafood and locally grown foods from the Island's many farms. There is a wood stove for chilly nights, a grill outside, and the house features wall mounted propane lamps. Sadly, cell phones work unless you turn them off. One bedroom has a full size bed. A second bedroom has a queen size bed, the third bunk beds, and the fourth a twin bed. |
